Just a quick update post with new photos of the garden that's doing remarkably well this year!
The veggie garden has already produced radishes and greens
This is my reading corner (photo below) , I've been enjoying a few good books so far this summer
1. "Summer In February" by about an Edwardian artists' colony in Cornwall soon to be a movie too.
2. "Beautiful Ruins" by Jess Walters
3. "The Kingdom of Men" by Kim Barnes- in the midst of reading, very intresting.
The front garden is also doing very well, it's my little version of an English cottage garden...
and finally a little front door decor...
have a wonderful week and 4th!!

May I just say that my own gardens are a complete wreck. Working full time away from home doesn't leave much time to care for them, esp. in the HOT weather. I am continually in awe though, of nature's way of just plain exploding with foliage and flowers each summer. I look at the trees and think of how they were utterly bare just a few weeks ago and now all those leaves. What a miracle!!
