Today was the first day we really really felt it was autumn, the crisp cold air was wonderful, the leaves are changing, the garden is a mix of end-of-the-summer flowers and the traditional three pumpkin display I've been doing since the boys were little...we got a new little red Cafe table and chair set for the front porch so we can catch those wonderful sunny morning and have our coffee outdoors for a few more weeks.

the leave are changing, in two weeks that tree will be all red
my muck boots are ready for some end-of-the-season garden work
and indoors the wood stove is burning
