This spring we completely re-did the front side of the garden, it was overgrown with weed and with two giant dried out evergreens (which I don't like much even when they are green), we bought tons of new plants, and rebuilt the surrounding stone wall, I was hoping that by next year it will all fill out nicely, but it did very well already this year!
The veggie graden did very well this year too, an abundance of sunshine and lots of rain helped, we are still waiting for the tomatoes to ripen but we have tons coming in!
and finally here are some photos I took this morning, can you spot our cat Isabel? I especially love the new Fairy Roses and a bright pink Hollyhock!
I hope you all have a wonderful week, our son Daniel is starting college on Friday, he will be joining his older brother Jonathan, they will even be sharing a room! we are so lucky they are only an hour and a half away so we get to see them a lot. I can't belive it, two boys out of the nest!

How absolutely lovely! There is truly nothing comparable to having an extension outdoors to the loveliness we create inside our nests.
