We did a little mini bathroom renovation last week, We removed the old green formica vanity top that was painted way too many times and replaced it with a simple white cultured marble one, perfectly fine for a tight budget and looks great! we also replaced the old dated faucet with a new brushed nickel one (I love it!) and raised the shelf a bit, finally we painted the bottom part of the wall a fresh coat of white and left the upper part as is, I love the different whites and it makes the room look a little wider. We still need to re-align the doors and we're done.
Little things make a big difference.

By the way, by "we" I really mean my sweet patient husband who did all the work...I just re-decorated when it was all done...

Just goes to prove that a small amount of effort and expense can really make a big difference in up-dating a room.
Even better when you have a willing husband to do the work!

Simple things can really contribute a lot. I do love your mirror as well as the starfish display. It is so simple yet very appealing.

What a transformation! It's amazing what a short trip to the home store and a little bit of elbow grease can accomplish!
Did you apply new paint to the wall as well?

I recently discovered your jewelry. I am now head over heels in love with your sweet necklaces, decorating, and your photos. I've been saving some faves in my etsy account and can't wait to make a purchase!
