A little Romantic collection

A new addition to my shop is the Amelia Necklace, made with a big gold toned soaring bird connected  to a lovely vintage glass bead chain in perfect condition (a rare thing)! instead of ribbon I wanted to give it a little bit of an edge but still maintain a romantic-ballerina-like feel, so I used 100% organic twill tape hand sewn through the big gold plated jump rings allowing lots of length options and can even be worn as a belt! 

Here it is with a few more new items creating this little collection:

Happy weekend to all, it's a gorgeous sunny day here in Vermont, the wood stove is burning, the granny square blanket is out for the winter, a big pot of chili is cooking and I am trying hard to just relax......

Glitz and Glam Earrings for the Holidays

Boys rooms

First of all I would like to invite my dearest USA readers to watch a film my husband was the Director of Photography on.

It's called The Confessions and it will be aired on Tue. Nov. 9th at 9 on PBS Frontline (check your local listings for the exact time, here in VT it's being aired at 10pm).

Little changes in the boys room, we removed the separated bunk beds (which I never liked anyway), reassembled an older white bed which I stenciled years ago when Jonathan (now 20 was 4...) and put that in Mikey's room

before (not my favorite bed choice)

 after (so much brighter and lighter)

Jonathan's room, who is away in college, will double up as a guest room when needed and we got a full size bed for him, still need to find a platform and will make a headboard for him too (see tutorial here)

 
 Other then that my life has been super busy lately, I am working on lots of new designs for the holidays and will take some new photo just as soon as the rain stops and we get a sunny day around here...
