I found these flowers at the market yesterday I don't always love carnations but these wild pink ones were irresistible!

and finally one great easy peasy recipe from Martha Stewart's Living Magazine:

Cut 3 pounds of carrots on the bias

coat them with some olive oil and  sprinkle with a little coarse salt

put them on a rimmed baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes on 425F

turn on the Grill in your oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the carrots are tender and a little browned.

cool 

Toss with fresh parsley and some good Feta cheese.
