Southwest Necklaces

Fall Inspiration
I am asked many times about what inspires me, mostly my answer will include textiles, movie sets, books, flowers and art, but more then anything I am inspired by fashion and great styling, that super talent that some have to put everything together in a way that creates magic. Every so often that magic happens for me and when I saw the latest J. Crew fall catalog I just had to share it with you, isn't it beautiful?

A little photo shoot
It's been super hectic around here lately, we had family over and a house filled with guests, I love it when everyone comes over, but not too much blogging time left .
I did manage to do a little photo shoot for the new headbands with my lovely 15 year old niece, when we finally got around to taking the photos a day before they left it was rainy and I had no light in the house, so we went out to the garden and did a little "Alice" look...

Another dreamy house
Yesterday afternoon we were invited to our good friends Diane and Tom for dinner, I love going there, they have a gorgeous 200 year old farm house which they bought in a very sorry state and did wonders with!
Situated high up on a hill overlooking the Green Mountains it is so peaceful that you just melt away into total relaxation...
I love the old stairs leading up to the second floor
the open and airy living room was once an animal shed
I even love the bathroom!
