This weekend my husband and I went on a little road trip to Maine, he was on a filming assignment and I decided to tag along, I've been working very hard lately and was yearning to meet friends and see the ocean.
We were only there for one night but It was so lovely and worth the long 7 hour drive from Vermont. We stayed in a little Inn on Deer Island, the room was light and bright with a gorgeous view from all the windows.
I loved that milky yellow door to our room.
Some parts of the Maine coast are so vast and barren with grey skies and yellow grasses, If I were a painter I would probably paint this:
we also visited with friends that have a fantastic garden and home
it was simply lovely!
What a gorgeous inn. Maine is such a beautiful state, I really love all of its wilderness and charm.
