Print your own textile designs
Two summers ago I took a course in silk screening (you can see my design below) I was sure that it would open a door to a new venture and I will be designing and silk screening away forever...but unfortunately that did not happen, I somehow got discouraged and the lack of a space to work in seemed to seal the deal for me
until today, when a lovely lady called Jeanne from Nantucket was reading a few old posts on my blog and sent me a link to what seems to me to be a truly magical place, it's called Spoonflower, this company prints fabric of your own design on beautiful white fabric by Moda, they even have a Flickr group where you can see some of the work created by other people, of course there is a lot more on their website as well. Let me tell you this got me very excited and I can't wait to begin designing and have some stuff printed, a whole new summer collection is zooming through my head! So , thank you again Jeanne, I'm sure many of the readers will appreciate this link!
In the meantime I am creating away trying to stock the shop, here are a few new listing on my website, since I am leaving on Wed. I will be putting my Etsy shop on vacation, but I can't put my website on vacation so I will be shipping any orders received after Wed.the 14th by Feb. 3rd. so hurry up and put in your orders now, so I can ship them out before I leave!

A nice opportunity there.I liked the sample of your work. And what a lovely jewellery you've created this time. I am sure you'll come back very inspired by your trip to your homeland. Though I am sadened by what is happening down there.

I love your photo. You are lovely. Is turning fifty a fun one? I was happy to turn forty. I had just had my second babe and felt like I was ready for forty, a relief almost. I was happy to be there. I turned 43 in December and for some reason 43 was very difficult for me, I don't know why..................anyway, you make fifty look good, in every way you live your life--your art, your family, your home, your zest for life.
Have a great trip.
