Ronen and I woke up this morning to another glorious autumn day, we decided it was much to nice to stay at home, the kids were at school till 4 and we were both free to run away...
We packed a lunch: bagels with homemade goat cheese from our friends farm,VT made cheddar cheese, yesterdays salad and a few local apples we bought on the way.
The music was great (Neil Young and some other folksy and blues tunes ), the weather was absolutely perfect 62F (17c) and the skies were a bluest blue I have ever seen...
First we hiked a little up Camel's hump and had lunch, then we headed out to Warren which is the cutest little town and we love their Country Store, it has great coffee and pastries and a balcony that sits right above a waterfall.
We walked around, went down to Waitsfield (another perfect little town) and took the back country roads home.
It was perfect!

Lake Iroquis in Hinesburg near the boys High School, the mountains looked like jewels!
It was so beautiful.

Great photos Tamar-so beautiful. We were in Montreal this past weekend visiting my husbands relatives. Usually, I'd suggest a trip south to Burlington but our time was limited. We did have a beautiful drive up north to Ste Agathe des Monts, about an hour north of Montreal. The fall colors were gorgeous!! Have a great week. :-)

Beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing! I'm happy to see that little quilt shop in Waitsfield is still open, I thought that it had been sold or closed?

Hi Tamar, your beautiful necklace & package arrived this morning (with other bird visitors in my garden) - so inspired my blogpost for the day! These are lovely images - I love the store, the clapboard buildings and the quilt on the line.. the autumnal colours seem to portray Vermont. best wishes, Caireen.

So beautiful.
I've been waiting for the foliage to kick in here.. but it's taking it's time. On one block it will be fall & the next it still looks like summer! Some trees have even lost ALL of their leaves. Sigh.
